We are moving forward with plans for the summer 2008 course development seminars and common session. I am working with Rebecca Davis (our NITLE program officer) to coordinate planning for these courses.

NITLE and Sunoikisis will offer two concurrent seminars June 9-13, 2008 at Reed College to prepare curriculum for these courses. More information is available online:

The Sixth Annual Sunoikisis Undergraduate Research Symposium in Classics will take place April 4-5, 2008 at Davidson College in Davidson, NC. Sunoikisis invites students of the Classical World at NITLE institutions to submit abstracts on any topic relevant to Ancient Greece and Rome, as well as the Classical Tradition.
